Joshua Becker loved the idea of being a chocolatier ever since he was a high school exchange student visiting the Netherlands. He appreciated the artistry and precision of making delicious and beautiful chocolates. Once he returned home from his time abroad, however, his pragmatic side led him to earn a degree in business and later his law degree. While he built a successful law career he enjoyed, his wife knew his heart was meant for something else. With the support of his wife and three kids, Joshua left his law practice to study at Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts in St. Louis. After earning his certificate in Pâtisserie and Baking in 2012, Joshua opened Cocoa Blue Chocolates on December 5, 2013.
